SOFTWARE EDUCATION ANNOUNCES FIRST THREE INTERNATIONAL SPEAKERS FOR STANZ 2010

Software Education has announced the first three international speakers for its  9th annual Software Testing
Australia/New Zealand (STANZ) conference, being held in Wellington on 23–24 August and in Sydney on 26–27
August 2010.

Run over two days in each location, this conference is recognised as Australasia’s premier software testing
conference.  As Dorothy Graham, UK-based Software Testing expert and past presenter at STANZ says:

“You can’t get a better testing conference unless you travel to the other side of the world!”

The conference taps into Software Education’s extensive international network to deliver in-depth, practical solutions
to the issues facing software testers today – delivered by a diverse range of people who are passionate about what
they do.

Scott Barber (USA)
Chief Technologist of PerfTestPlus
Widely recognised as a thought-leader in software performance testing, Scott is the Executive
Director of the Association for Software Testing, co-founder of the Workshop on Performance
and  Reliability and co-author of Performance Testing Guidance for Web Applications.  Scott
believes that the most effective and efficient testing is accomplished when the project and
organisational context are known and used to   guide the testing effort.

Rex Black (USA)
President RBCS
Immediate past President of the International Software Testing Qualifications Board (ISTQB)
and co-author of the ISTQB Foundation Syllabus, Rex is a perennial favourite at STANZ.  We’re
delighted to be able to have Rex join us for his fourth STANZ.

Dawn Haynes
Senior Trainer and Consultant for PerfTestPlus
With over 20 years of experience supporting, administering, developing and testing software
and hardware systems, Dawn is a highly-regarded trainer of software trainers and a Director
of the Association for Software Testing.  Dawn is particularly passionate about improving the
state of performance testing across the industry.

As Martyn Jones, Managing Director at Software Education, says:

“I believe our organisation has an important role to play in raising the professionalism and profile of software testing
in our region.  We’re delighted to be able to bring experts of this sort of calibre to Australia and New Zealand, year
after year, to share their wealth of experience and demonstrate the critical impact professional software testing has
on global business.”
